How to install 360 Total Security on my PC?

A
Answer by Alex Urbach

There is no special procedure to install 360 Total Security. You just visit the official website and download the installation package, then launch it from where it was saved and follow the installation instructions.

Note: I advise choosing other security solution because I've encountered serious issues with this software. Not to mention that it displays ads and all kinds of offers.

I can't choose between these two antivirus solutions.

S
Answer by Sean Hill

Both security solutions are useful if you don't have any protection software on your computer. What to choose depends on what you need and if you want to pay for the software. 360 Total Security is freeware, as it is Avast Free Antivirus. In comparison with 360 Total Security, the free version of Avast doesn't offer antiphishing protection and privacy features such as protection from ID theft, but provides home network security. But if you decide to pay for your software, you should know that the paid version of Avast Antivirus brings you the most comprehensive protection.

Yes, it is Safe to use.
But the problem is that it tries to log in to Facebook without users permission [ you can cancel it in setting ] and it also tries to install third-party antivirus engine. It's virus definition update process is irritating. pick it if you want just an average virus protection.
But if you want a simple and good Anti-Virus try Avast,AVG etc...

Is 360 Total Security Essential worth trying?

A
Answer by Alex Urbach

The Essential version is actually the same as 360 Total Security, only it has a few premium features that require purchasing and Sandbox mode. Sandbox mode allows you to run apps in a controller environment in order to prevent malware infection or spreading.

Besides these premium features, the software also supports themes and other features available for software update.

Try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.

After that, try running AdwCleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys or toolbars in your system.
